China Outstanding Loan Growth

The value of outstanding yuan loans in China went up 14.4 percent year-on-year in May of 2016, the same as in April and above market expectations of a 14.2 percent gain. A year earlier, outstanding loans grew by 13.1 percent. Loan Growth in China averaged 17.11 percent from 2002 until 2016, reaching an all time high of 34.74 percent in November of 2009 and a record low of 10.60 percent in February of 2002. Loan Growth in China is reported by the People’s Bank of China.
