Spain’s current account registered a surplus of €409 million in January 2017, up from a deficit of €403 million in the same month a year earlier. The goods and services surplus narrowed slightly to €828 million (from €910 million a year ago), while the primary and secondary income deficit shrank to €419 million (from €1313 million). Current Account in Spain averaged -1223.02 EUR Million from 1969 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 4482 EUR Million in December of 2014 and a record low of -12368 EUR Million in January of 2008.
